PROGRAMME
Saturday: 18.00 p.m. boarding
in Marina di Portisco
Sunday: we head towards Mortorio island where
live the atmosphere of an unpolluted environment, with beaches pink quartz and
feldspar that enchant visitors. The peculiarity of the island is that its
ecosystem is preserved intact thanks to the difficulties in reaching it. The
eastern sector of the island is also a military zone, so inaccessible. On the
island, however, near the place called Spalmatore Land, there are some beaches,
a marina, two restaurants and a few homes. Recently Tavolara is backdrop to a
summer interesting film review, which involves artists of great fame and draws
enthusiastic audiences.
Monday: day pass, comrades become friends, we
are a team ... we sail to Caprera. The island has 34 km of coastline and its
natural reserve is untouched. The most important attraction (to the Italians) is
the White House of Giuseppe Garibaldi: "temple" of the famous general called the
Hero of the two worlds, who fought for the unity of Italy and who lived on the
island from 1856 until his death. The beaches include Caprera Two Mari (two
beaches are separated by a narrow embankment), Cala Napoletana, Cala Garibaldi
and Cala Brigantina. From Monte Telaione you can see a wonderful view of the
island.
Wednesday: Corsica! Once Savoyas territory, now French, is an
island located to the north of Sardinia, which separates the strait called the
Strait of Bonifacio. Unlike other islands in the Mediterranean, perhaps because
of its northern location, Corsica is an island green and rich of vegetation.
Precisely for this reason, Corsica is a uncontaminated island with vast areas
declared a UNESCO World Heritage site that occupy more than one third of the
land with its classified sites, its natural reserves, its international marine
park, its natural regional park, extended from across the mountains between
Calvi and Porto-Vecchio. The Five nature reserves of Corsica, home to a unique
fauna and flora, with 2000 different plant species, to be visited on foot, by
bike or by boat. Natural and surprising views, where the sea is blue, ravines
and cliffs fade from white to red, we can enjoy the islands Cerbicales,
sanctuary of Cormorani with the forelock, Lavezzi islands, where 68 species of
live fish surveyed in Finocchiarla island and Scandola, the first marine nature
reserve in French and the pond where Biguglia nest 127 species of aquatic birds.
Thursday: when you reach to Costa Smeralda is impossible not to
appoint Porto Cervo, beating heart of this beautiful strip of land. At one time
the village was called emerald "Mountains Mola and was simply a lonely
territory, inhabited by farmers and farmers who lived their lives quietly in a
serene and untouched land. Porto Cervo offers, in addition to the wealth
privileged stay, the convenience of being a perfect place for sports
enthusiasts, especially water sports. Good weather and wind conditions make the
area a destination known to surfers and sailors at any level.
Friday:
holiday draws to a close and we head back to the place of embarkation to reflect
on what are some unnecessary things ... what is important is the sense of group
... and how much this holiday has enriched us in terms of new experiences and
emotions!
Saturday: landing at 09.00 a.m. in Marina di Portisco.
